Its fiery sun, glittering sand, and vast cultural wealth has reputed Jerusalem as The City of Gold. Within the ancient walls lie a metropolis and culture of overwhelming spiritual energy and biblical beauty.
Worshipers, removing their sandals, consider the soil in Jerusalem to be Holy Ground. Holy sites such as The Dome of the Rock, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and Western Wall brim with believers of many cultures.
Ancient holy structures, salty seas, fertile banks, and golden deserts provide sacred settings to Scriptures’ tales. People of many faiths cherish hopes of living peacefully in the Land of Israel. The last piece of Solomon’s Temple and universally holy site, the Western Wall, holds slips of paper written with the sincerest prayers of everyone who worships there. Shalom!!
